I had snoop free say that PXKBF.sys was recording my key strokes and it locked my system up. I have Prevx, malwarebytes, spybot, and microsoft security on my pc i had to drop into safe mode scan the file but it came up as clean. When I removed the file my keyboard quit working and had to go to microsoft and run an update after reboot the file was back, so I removed my newest program wich was Prevx and the prob stopped and the file was gone. Does this mean that Prevx is a spyware corp. and if so why do all the major searches give them great reviews. any one with info PLEASE help me out.
Somehow the installation was corrupted and the pxkbf.sys is conflicting as a driver. You need to either use a boot disk or the original zp/2000 etc., disk to get into safe mode. Then uninstall prevx 20 or 3.0. This will reset and remove the drivers. The conflict is with another av software or another driver on your system. Note if you have to you can rename the file 1*.sy_, it will give you an error on boot, but at least you can boot. You can run the prevx remover from prevx web site.
